Marina Apartment with Large Roof/sun Terrace. Ideal for Couples

The apartment is situated on the waterside of the beautiful Marina at Gruissan, one of the Mediterranean 's major pleasure boat marinas with yachts belonging to the rich and famous. From the apartment with the large private roof terrace there are uninterrupted views of the Marina and Mount Clappe . From the other side of the terrace you can view the circular village of Gruissan with its old castle, which is a few minutes walk from apartment where you experience a typically French village atmosphere. In the village square they hold local markets three times a week, Monday, Wednesday and Saturday. Gruissan is an ideal place for cycling, walking, nature watching with a sanctuary nearby to see the pink flamingos, you can also learn to sail in the harbour.

Our apartment is situated in the sunny Languedoc region of South West France on the Mediterranean coast. It is rich in culture and history, was one of the first Roman colonies. This part of France has great beauty, with its mountains, the Pyrenees , vineyards and miles of sandy beaches. Good wines and food are synonymous within this unique region, the Cave de Gruissan being just over the road from our apartment and offers wines at very reasonable prices.

The beautiful city of Narbonne with its old cathedral is 12 kms from the apartment and has a canal running through the centre of the city. There is exellent road and rail services from Narbonne with rail connections to major cities such as Carcassone, Barcelona , Paris and Nice. You can take the TGV sleeper train from Paris to Narbonne. where your car can go on the train and you travel with it. Shopping is very good here and there are plenty of cafes where you can relax and watch the world go by. Markets take place Thursday and Sunday mornings.
